Because our tours are private tours, they do offer some flexibility in the composition of the tour.Therefore, we will not ask for any payment until we have together worked out the details of the tour including dates, number of travellers,  and If any special requirements from the traveler’s.

During the wine tours I will explain the way the French Wine Appellations are set up and what makes each Wine Appellation unique. Taking in consideration the geology, the weather pattern and regulations taking place in each Wine Appellation. Each Appellation allows certain grape varieties and not others. By the end of the tour you will have tasted wines from at least 4 appellations and at least 4 grape varietals.

This tour of the Loire was part of a 17-day trip to France that included 3 days in Paris and an 11-day river cruise on the Seine. It was one of the most memorable parts of our trip.  We took the 2-day Castle and Wine Tour and loved every minute.  Luc was a joy to be with.  He has a great sense of humor, a very interesting history, and a keen attention to detail.  He did all he could to meet our every need.  A member of our party had some mobility problems so Luc made sure to arrange for a wheelchair at all our stops.  You can believe it when he says “gourmet” meals.  The restaurants he selected were outstanding.  The menus and wine lists were absolutely Michelin quality.  Our overnight accommodation was not just a “VIP accommodation” but a 19thcentury chateau with very spacious rooms and a full breakfast with everything you could want.  The chateaus we visited were very interesting and beautiful and the wine tastings were educational and fun.  I would highly recommend that anyone planning on visiting the Loire region should arrange to spend some time with Luc.  We cannot thank him enough for sharing his knowledge, guidance, and humor with us.
